| Ignite India Youth IGNITE INDIA YOUTH currently has over 5,000 young people signed up to the Ignite Declaration in the local language of Telegu. At the BLESSINGS FESTIVAL alone in October 2007, 441 young people signed up to Ignite! For 2 years, our Ignite India Youth Director was V. Vinod, who is now pursuing medical studies in China, his place as Ignite India Youth Director has been taken by his brother V.V. Sagar- and Sagar is spending all his time visiting and encouraging young believers, and helping the Ignite church buildings be constructed. Ignite India uses The COME TOGETHER compound, funded partly by Third Day, as it's regular base for meetings. A school has recently opened on the compound, and the ongoing fundraising project for the school is being co-ordinated by Gill and Nigel James. By the grace of God, Gateway see many young people experience salvation and undergo baptism. At Christmas time each year, Gateway organize Ignite India Christmas meetings and sports tournaments- which gather together many young people to compete for the Ignite India cup in various sports and most importantly to share Christian fellowship together. |
